1970 challenger convertible rear interior plastic panels
« on: September 06, 2016 - 09:52:22 AM »
Need  1970 challenger convertible rear interior plastic panels.  Or a way to repair  the  last pair I bought, dry and flakey, scored at the top near the window, the typical 45 year old wear.

Any opinions on these?

These the only ones on  ebay, big price difference. Is either one better  or should I say which is less worse?

I would hold out and wait for originals to pop up. Those Palco reproductions are poor fitting, made from the wrong materials, and the grain is different. If this is the last part you need to finish your car then buy a pair and use them for now but I would wait if you can.

I agree, but you might be waiting a long time... :2cents:

The last set on mint Cuda ones I heard about selling was last year and they went for $2000.00  :scared:

I only see nice sets when I don't need them. I've seen a couple of sets of decent used challenger ones in the last year or so for reasonable money. The Cuda ones are  much tougher though.

I'll be looking for NICE Challenger ones, non-power window, in the near future if you hear of any. Blue preferred  :smilielol:

Would be nice if the Manufacture of the "Metro" brand door panels would reproduce these.   :stirpot:

Tony D just listed a nice looking pair of Cuda ones for $895 if anyone needs some.  They look pretty nice in the photos and are priced pretty fairly.
