Serpentine KitsWho is using what
« on: September 07, 2016 - 05:33:47 PM »
I am going to purchase pulley kit soon and was wondering what you guys are running an how well you like it.  I am looking at March, CFV, billet specialties and any others you guys might suggest. Thanks

I've used Billet Specialties on 2 Chevy motors. Perfect fit and finish. The only complaint I had was packaging. When they apply the plastic over the part then do the heat/vacuum deal to seal it took 3 hours to get all that plastic off the part.  :rebel:

I like that particular march kit but with a/c it puts the compressor over top of the water outlet and it looks funky.  the style track and revolver look awesome but i have used billet specialties but only on GMs

I got around the remote reservoir using one of these.    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bsp-77930/overview/

But caution you have to know exactly which pump you have.

Looks like no room, alternator is above the pump? Alan is it a GM pump?

I might have the room, but no idea if it's the same pump ? :clueless: Any ideas as to what I have ? I should call Billet Specialties when I get a chance...  I like that one from Summit :2thumbs:

It does look like a GM pump but it's mounted at an angle, might put the reservoir at a funny angle too?

It is a GM pump, but there are a few variations, this is one example    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-340106/overview/

Their web site says it's a Polished Maval Mfg. power steering pump with AN fittings, but I agree, looks like it's angled, maybe for clearance  :dunno:
