New guy from Hungary!
« on: September 11, 2016 - 11:21:28 AM »
Hi everyone!

Just would like to introduce myself. My name is Peter,I'm from Hungary.I'm a long time fan of second gen chargers and '70-71 Cudas. My dream cars in order are the '68 r/t 4-speed charger,'70-71 Cuda 4 speed and 1970 Roadrunner 4-speed.

I was lucky or "stupid" enough, depends on how you look at things and got our '68 charger last year. She is a project car still but hopefully by next spring she will be ready to burn some rubber.
Lately, I started getting the same crazy feelings that I have to make my dream come true and started looking at Cudas.Unfortunately,as we all know project cars cost more than we first figured and our charger took all our money. But now with my better half's blessing,I have started to save up for my other dream car.It will take a few years to save up for a turn key car because of no more big project for me but I'm here to learn and ask questions in the meanwhile.
My first ever car was a 1969 Dodge Charger.I have promised myself that it will be my first car i buy and have to have her before i turn 30.Luckily i was determined enough to save up for years and bought it 7 years ago.Had to let her go to pay off some family member's debt and i thought i will never have enough money again to buy a 4-speed chager but last year i had found what i always wanted even tho she is in a very bad shape.
So my first car was a '69 charger, the second is  a '68 Charger and my third will be a '70 Cuda,at some day.

Thank you for the admins to run this site and  those knowledgeable guys who are here for helping others.

Peter

Thanks guys for the welcome!
Unfortunately, our economy here is really bad and with an average salary of 350-400 bucks a month it's hard to save up for a 30k car.I could nearly buy a house from this money but having a charger is way-way better than a second home.Having a '70 Cuda with a '68 Charger over here is unheard.

Here is a facebook site to my car!Not a facebook fan but it's easier to show pictures then posting them up.

Have a good day everyone!
