Did anybody check the obituary's to see if any prius or hybrid's died!!!
A Toyota Prius died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Ohio at the age of 2.
The Prius is survived by its owners, Preston and Vivian Smyth. It is preceded in death by the other Prius' that have passed away unexpectedly. The only lead officials have is that the unexplained deaths seem to coincide with the ignitions of 70's muscle cars.
This Prius was born on January 5, 2014 in Toyota, Aichi to the Tsutsumi Plant in Japan. After moving to the United States, the Prius was purchased by the Smyth family. Over the next two years, the couple went bankrupt from exorbitant electric bills caused by having to plug their car in every day. The court system that handled their bankruptcy case allowed the couple to keep their Prius because they "didn't want it".
The Prius was accomplished at getting 60 miles to the gallon and often bragged of this feat. However, the only one it bragged to was the stray cats in the neighborhood because it could never find a girlfriend.
A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Browning Wrecking Yard and Salvage with a reception to follow at DP & L Electric Company who will hold a special ceremony for their loss. Tom Raga, CEO of DP & L Electric Company will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the Prius's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Smyth family so they can finally pay their electric bills. Condolences can be sent to DP & L Electric Company.
