The reproductions that were built in Argentina were the first of the reproduction Goodyears. The plant was a Goodyear plant that was still building Bias Plys, so other than sending mold to the plant, there was no slow down to learn how to build the tires.
Currently, all of the Goodyear reproduction tires are made here in the United States.
For the DOT date code, it is the impressed number at the end of the DOT numbers. I do have a listing for decoding the old tires that is before the DOT coding that the Tire Rack list shows.
If you are interested in pricing of new reproduction Goodyears, I am happy to help with that. My cell is 816-654-3400.
