That's a good starting point, that's what I would do. Has your intake manifold ever been milled to fit the Stage VI heads?

That's a good starting point, that's what I would do. Has your intake manifold ever been milled to fit the Stage VI heads?

15 years ago, when the heads were being ported, they might have done a little. But I just bolted up
the intake to the heads without a gasket, and there seems to be little if any gap around the base of the intake,
so the .060 gasket should do the job.
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I use to build models of almost that very same picture in the early sixties.

Good luck with your installation! Some of us "old guys" remember Rat Fink and Ed Roth, the "Muscle Car Icon" IMO. I've built many models in the past also, that's probably where the Mopar Obsession started for me. Good memories! :2thumbs:
