    Will a edelbrock performer rpm 383 fit under Rallye hood and work with ac

    Looking at changing intake on my 383 to an Edelbrock RPM and larger carb. Does anyone who has had experience with this know if it will fit under the RT hood? Also will factory air still be able to bolt to this intake?

    It fits,.... The stock dual snorkel air cleaner needs to be twisted slightly so the right snorkel clears the hood brace... You can't run the A/C top supports without modifying them.... But honestly I ran it without them for three years before I changed out the RV-2 compressor for a Sanden, never had any issues...

    Thanks RT I will likely change to a Sanden as well. The RV-2 is like a Harley v twin. It's one of the things I can't leave alone.

    Why don't you replace all your factory A/C hard lines and hoses and SELL  your original stuff to me :money:
