Hey all, just wanted to quickly introduce myself and my car. I'm Tom, and this is my '71 Challenger. It was a 318 car I did a 340 swap in shortly after purchasing, along with going from the A904 (is that right? Pulling that from memory) to a 727 and to a larger rear end from the 7 & 1/4 stock rear (Again, from memory... I think that's what it was)
I picked it up with my dad back in 2000 as my first car, and after a few years of daily driving I parked it in favor of a more reliable ride. I lacked the time and money to get it running properly, but couldn't stand the idea of selling it. So, for the past 10 years or so I have been towing it from state to state and hiding it out of sight for they day I'd be able to do her up properly.
I last had her parked behind a previous employer's building, but I recently left the company and needed to get her out of their lot (thankfully a buddy owns the company and he was super patient with me lol). I cleared out some garage space, and made what I plan to be her final tow home. I had her plopped into my driveway, and was able to get her to fire up after swapping some fuel lines.
Bringing her home got me all excited about her again, so I started googling ideas and came over this forum. I've got a '75 Honda CL360 motorcycle I am finishing up, but once that project is back together you'll likely be hearing from me again!
