1970 challenger repo headlight harnesses
« on: September 29, 2016 - 02:32:34 PM »
I am going to buy a repo headlight wiring harness for my 1970 Challenger project which has fender mounted turn signal indicators.  I don't see where there is a special headlight harness listed by the usual suspects for cars with fender mounted turn signal indicators.

Do any of you know if the harness always come with the connections for fender mounted turn signal indicators ?

thanks
Chris

On the M&H harness I have in my Challenger, there are three plugs up front on each side that feed into the fender area.

I don't the fender signals but looking at the wiring diagram it looks like it's all there.

A yellow male/female bullet  connector - front turn signals
A black male.female bullet connector - side markers
A black female post connector - fender turn signals

I bought a 1970 Barracuda headlight wiring harness from Evans Wiring and the fender mounted turn signal connector was there. However, I did specifically ask him if it comes with that before I bought it.

The harness I bought for my 1972 Challenger at Year One has it.

If I recall correctly it's made by M&H Electric.
You can order directly from them and request the fender mounted turn signals if you want to be sure.
