I need a new floor creeper any suggestions?
« on: September 30, 2016 - 10:47:38 PM »
Well I've had my current floor creeper for like 20 years or more. My Dad ran over it once years ago with his diesel pick up truck but  it was still use able but now years later the wheels are falling off so I'm looking for a replacement. Any suggestions/recommendations ?
The one I have looks like this but it's red. It gets stuck/hung up on my uneven driveway sometimes and has been sent airborne a few times out of frustration.

I just bought one of these to use for work but would like one on wheels too.

2 or 4 post lift.

Other than that I am of no help on the creeper.
Have one I have move all over my garage for the past 15 years. Keep trying to use it but then end up with the cardboard.

Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.

I'm one of those "cardboard" guys. I've never felt comfortable on a creeper. That said, I do have an interesting one. It converts into a stool. Just a couple removable pins and it folds back and forth. I use it as a stool more than anything.

Best I can do with my garage. That bone creeper looks good?  This one maybe, as I don't have the nicest/flatest driveway/garage floor?   http://bonecreeper.com/roughrider.html

HAHA I've seen that one a few years ago.  I've never seen a price on that one, have you?  I'm betting it's just a bit on the expensive side!  :grinyes:

Been trying to justify a 4 post for my house for years. I have enough room to park one over the top of another.

As for stands I made my own out of 2x4s. Need higher just stack on another layer. Absolutely awsome. I wish I did this 30 years ago. Using on my Mustang right now. After pic was printed I added 2 more slats on top plate to cradle the tire so it doesn't roll. And finally am using my creeper.

Although the bonecreeper looks good.

I'm curious about that also? I see older versions had a padded head rest but not the latest generations?  :clueless:

I wrap/fold up a pool noodle from the dollar store to support my head and neck when working on cardboard.
