What do you been by "The drier is aftermarket"? Does it have -6 O ring fittings or hose barbs? Snap photos....

Part numbers are sometimes faint, but found stamped on the metal crimped area. You might have to wire wheel them. If yours are truly original 70 383 E Body lines.....we need to talk

Sorry, after closer inspection mine might be a replacement. Has numbers on the hose.

the hose will have its own number written on it. the factory pn is elsewhere on the hard line part, I saw the one on the fitting next to the firewall.

Yea it looks like a replacement of some sort.
What about the large hose from the firewall to the compressor ? Can you get a picture of that ?
