Okay...so no real thanks goes out to all the carrot danglers here on this web site :swear: :banghead:

I have, however now secured 3 out of the 4 AC lines that I needed, well....I've paid for them, now I just have to see if they actually show up  :smilielol:

The only one I still need, should theoretically be the easiest to find because I think they would be the same for small block and big block in 70 and at least 71.

It's the small hose that goes from the expansion valve at the firewall to the drier. Mainly steel tube with about eight inches of rubber on the end....

I don't really care how many of you guys have it, I'm really only interested if you actually want to sell it ! :horse:

I will pull mine this weekend and get pics and part numbers on it. I don't believe it had the same number you were looking for but I will verify

I wonder if bait and switch is something Alan knows well.

If you completely strike out, I may have someone you can call that may have what you are looking for.

:faint: Really!! Just check with the guy and see if he has it and if so, will he sell it. If the answer to either question is no, then so be it. Otherwise let's get this thing done. Why is everybody hiding in the shadows on this?

I'm being realistic as I don't like dealing with this guy at all but if all else fails.

Lay it out for him: You'll put your best effort into finding the correct parts but there's a limit. After that you go with repro/aftermarket, or mopar parts from the wrong year, or skip the A/C. His call. You can't do the impossible and you shouldn't drive yourself nuts trying. I learned a long ago that you just can't be everything to everybody and they need to accept that.

Funny, in the past we always thought Shakers & 71 Cuda grills were had to find.... Turns out those are easy... It's options like A/C & Cruise Control that can't be found.....  New swap meet list should include any E body A/C components that don't interchange with B & C bodies...

Hi Alan, I just called Mike in Lefroy, ( the one you gave the Fraztog to) he says he has all the stock hoses from his 71 Challenger. He went with a newer sanderson. Its small block stuff I believe but I asked him to take a picture and send them to my phone . He said he would tomorrow although he is crazy busy ( he owns a bodyshop) Maybe he has what you need for this car or the next?  :dunno: Has the original ( heavy!! :grinyes:) compressor too?
Just trying my best to help?  :dunno:

If he could see if he has the remaining small line I still need (posted above)...that would be great.
