1973 Challenger hood pin lanyard attachment

                       Where do the lanyards attach under the hood ?   How are they routed.

Seeing how 1973 Challengers NEVER left the factory with hood pins...I would say you're on your own...there's no rules :2cents:

                    Anybody install them on a 72-74  ??    The holes for the pins are on the fender  section.    :clueless:

There is a dimple in the fiberglass header panel for an attachment screw. It is in between the steel bracket that attaches the header panel to the fender, and the fender itself. I can get a pic or two later tonight if my explanation is tough to understand?

When attaching my lanyards I went with a picture from a Direct Connection catalog from sometime in the '80's.

I mounted mine like my 71. Here are pictures the 1st is my 1971 Challenger the 2nd is my 1973 and the 3rd is my 1974 mounted in a different location than my other 2. The 1973 Challenger had dimples in the fender and that is where my 71 Challenger has them mounted. Hope this helps out.
