Reupholster 72-74 type seats in 71 type

Hello, I may need to reupholster the back and front seats in my 71 Challenger.

I'd like to put back original 71 style seat covers in there, like this picture :



Is it possible to reupholster a mix of 70 and 72-74 seats like I currently have in a 71 styling ? Or I will need different seat types.

Nope, you should have no problem doing that.   Might want to spring for new front foams just to ensure a nice correct fit of the new covers

The newer seats don't have replaceable foam like the earlier seats.  Your upholstery person would need to add foam to the existing seat frames and shape them to match the 71 seat covers.  I don't know how you would attach the hard plastic seat back to a newer seat either.  The 73 and 74 seats don't use them.  The seat covers, cover the entire seat.

Good points...I was looking at the seats in his second picture and thought that was what he was wanting to recover They're not 73-74 seats in the front.
