These were 1998. I really liked them, the lettering sort of was close to Poly's and I think they were a better tire than T/As.

They were Waay better than BF's.

I almost went off a cliff on new BF's in the rain...driving slow.
Never bought them again after that.

I've always been "brand loyal" Figured back in the day, if Mopars came with GoodYears from the factory, they should still get GoodYears now.... Back in the day I never liked the BFG's the way they looked in the late 80's early 90's...

Even knowing GoodYears wear out like crazy....I still put them on my 2010 Ram because that's what it came with... :screwy:

The Eagle head ST's were the early version.

The only none OEM sizes/ tires that are being reproduced are the 775/15 Blue Streaks and the L60-15 Polyglas.

Has there ever been any input or consideration at the manufacturing level to revive the Eagle ST's?
Sounds like a no brainer to make them again.

Timing wise, I would think there would still be a strong market for them.
Even more so than the Goodyear Polyglass tires.

Eagles came on Chevy's back then I recall.

I doubt that VERY much.....Anybody restoring a 70's muscle car needs/wants PolyGlas....

Would make more sense to bring out a PolyGlas "look-a-like" that has a radial construction  :2cents:

The Eagle ST will not come back.  Goodyear will not make enough money making that tire.  They make more money on a line that is making replacements for todays vehicles.  (Have you seen the price of tires for your daily driver?)  Honestly, I am surprised that BFG (parent company Michelin) is still selling the Radial T/A as cheap as they have.

As for the idea of the Polyglas tire being made into a radial tire, I do not see it happening.  But, never say never.  The reason is that Polyglas is a registered trademark of Goodyear.  Goodyear would have to approve and test the design.  If you have priced the reproduction radials, then you would get an idea of what these 'boutique' tires would cost.  If you think that the Polyglas are expensive, you would not like the cost of the faux tires.

As for Eagles, the Eagle GT is being reproduced in two sizes.  255/60/15 and 215/65/15.

November 1st is the date of the price increase.  The tires will be going up $10/tire.  Contact me for pricing.  My cell is 816-654-3400.

I am still taking orders to be delivered to Chicago for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.  This event is November 19 and 20 at the Stephenson Convention Center and is one of the best Muscle Car shows in the world.  I can deliver preordered tires to the event for $10/tire.

Kind off topic, I have Nitto 555's and seem to get flats spots real quick when sitting, like within 2-3 weeks. Other than leaving my car in the air, and comparable tire that is less likely to get flats spots....?

Try these:  https://raceramps.com/rebate/2016/10/flatstoppers-rebate/

The flat spotting comes from the nylon ply that is the safety net for speed rated tires.  FYI, Polyglas are polyester and fiberglas belting and do not flat spot.
