The old back brake lockup saga, what to do
« on: October 12, 2016 - 10:43:33 PM »
So with the addition of much wider tired I thought my rear brake lockup had gone away enough to be manageable however it raised its ugliness the other day.

So I have two choices at present
1) put the smaller slave cylinders in to reduce the force applied to the shoes
2) install an adjustable proportion inch valve in the rear line to infinitely adjust the pressure to the rear cylinders.

I'm leaning toward adjustable valve,  thoughts???

I've done both and the backs still lock before the front.

I'd install the truck wheel cylinders first. I did it in mine before I installed the rear discs never had a problem. I also installed the rear wilwood valve and never used it, it stays wide open to this day.  :2cents:
