Okay, so I am toying with the idea of trading my Roadrunner for specifically:
1- 1970 Cuda
2-1972-74 Cuda
3-1971-72 Duster/Demon
4-1970-71 Challenger
Nothing else please...not "i know you said...but i have..."
#matching would be cool but not a deal breaker, prefer no color change but no deal breaker either, fender tag at minimum. 4 speed or 5 speed
might be willing to throw a little cash up for the right E-Body...High Impact or Black preferred.
Here's the low down on mine:
Plymouth Road Runner. 383, 4-speed, 3:23  8.75 rear, light package, fender tag, complete owner history including dealer sales order, window sticker, bank payoff, pictures/receipts from the restoration. Only 3-owners (1st for 37 yrs, 2nd for 10yrs), all original body panels, straight unmolested car lived in CA, FL, and VA before coming to NJ. Car has older restoration but never disassembled. She has never been raced, hacked apart, accident free. #'s matching from the carburetor to the rear, still has the original spare wheel/tire holding air, original jack, owner's manual. Have original 14" road wheels with 1yr only trim rings.  Everything works, horn, blinkers, lights, reverse lights, cig lighter, e-brake,etc. She is a very strong driver and is driven...no trailer queen, local car show winner.  Car will come with 14" road wheels and white walls.  She sounds mean and turns heads everywhere.  here is a video of her:https://youtu.be/o2TJehTb7qM
She is B7 (Jamaica Blue) and White interior Bench seat 4spd
Items replaced by me:
Full tune up-belts, plugs, oil
Gas tank, sending unit, fuel lines
Reflectors
Fender mounted turn signals
Master Cylinder (have original)
Alternator
Firm Feel stage 2 Steering Box (have original)
Power steering hose
Alignment
Brake shoes/wheel cylinders
Instrument panel bulbs/sockets
2.5 stainless exhaust w/H-pipe and flowmaster 40 series
Roadrunner chrome tips
Mopar reproduction battery
Glove box door

Good luck on the hunt. Hard to think you are looking for a new ride already.

It should be an easy deal, especially with all the documentation of prior records.   :2thumbs:

Simple solution for that.  Get a lift for your RR and go get a Cuda.  With all those tips you were making this summer that should be chump change.

$35k for a '71 318 car?   :scared:

I'm digging this one - http://smokymountaintraders.com/vehicles/276/1971-dodge-challenger

3 spd?  I bet they want at least $40k for this...AND I heard several nightmare stories about this dealership

Thoughts?

Nice looking car. If me, and I prefer E-Bodies, I would be more patient and wait for a better deal. When I say better,  in my thinking, at least get a new ride with more pedigree. Lots of 318 cars. Besides, you just got the RR looking fantastic and to your liking. Now go drive it wind through the gears. That should keep you on hold till Spring, LOL.
