1964 Chevrolet Impala Convertible
« on: October 15, 2016 - 01:50:04 PM »
Very nice 1964 Impala Convertible. Restored with new interior, new top, front disc brakes, four corner air Bags with independent control. Car can be lowered all the way to the ground. Looks Awesome. The trim and door handles were removed before repainting Mercedes gold. Doors have remote control opening. Wheels are 20 inch front and rear, no rubbing. Engine is rebuilt 350 small block with rebuilt 3 speed auto transmission. The firewall has been shaved and painted. Card has custom lined trunk with hidden stereo with sub woofers and amps in rear and speakers in the front lower kick panels, all concealed. Great looking car, ready to go. This is not a show car but rather a nice custom with lots of work, over $50000 invested. Gets looks anywhere you go. I encourage all serious buyers to please come and physically inspect the car in person as it is in top condition in my opinion. Car is being sold as is, where is. I welcome you to get a pre-purchase inspection completed at any dealer of your choice. I can help with organising shipping. Can be shipped only to Canada or United States. Payment must be by bank transfer. The car purchased will not be released until funds have cleared the bank. The price is $15000, it's not negotiable and it also includes the transport to your country.

Yes: If he had E bodies and a bunch of posts then it might get a warmer welcome. Sounds like a scam no matter what.

Funny, back in high school (1975 time frame) a guy in auto shop showed up with a 64 Impala convertible low rider..  We were all giving him a hard time about the hack job hydraulics & 13" skinnys.... But as the months passed he ditched all the chromed suspension, hydraulics, tuck & roll, chromed this that & the other.... Found out it had been his dads first new car & he'd sold it when he got sick to pay bills... His dad passed away of cancer when he was 14... He restored the car back to it's original condition & still owns it...

If the description is accurate that price is stupid cheap.   :2cents:   But MOPAR OR NO CAR folks may not realize that.  :stirpot: I follow all the classics. Of course the post is probably BS.   :violin:

So moravansky666, what am I missing? Why only $15K? Looking at pics, I would expect at least $30K. What's wrong with it? Rust? No title? What? Something's got to be wrong with it for you to be posting it for so little on a national Mopar site. I would expect it to go quickly on your local Craigslist. So, what's wrong with it?
