On the TV series Mannix, he drove a 1972 cuda convertible.  Bet there's a pic somewhere.

Hey   :madvibe:  Mannix was cool. He was the only P.I. that could fight. Alot better than watching Cannon, or Barnabey Jones.

Mannix had a lot of neat cars.  Here's a list I found at http://www.jmannix.net/cars.htm

66 Toronado
68 Dart
69 Dart
70 Barracuda
71 Barracuda
72 Barracuda
73 Challenger
74 Camaro

All were convertibles except the Challenger and Camaro.

I know good ole Joe Mannix had a couple of Dart covertibles along the line, but I distinctly remember that 72 Cuda convertible was a medium(B-3???) blue.

I can't argue about the color but the website I posted above says the Darts and Barracudas were all Dark Green.   :dontknow:

Look, it's been a few years(I'm being kind to myself), but I could swear it was blue. I don't remember the Challenger either.  I must have slept thru that season.

  Mike

I remember that color on TV's wasn't too realistic back then.  It only took a slight tweak to make green into blue.  Shows how old I am, huh?

MEK, looks like you slept thru the last two seasons!     Don't feel bad, I didn't remember them either!   :grinno:

I grew up with 4 channels (2 PBS) black and white (if it worked) color (of various shades) and still managed to see a lot of the old shows before they dissapeared... I remeber black and white on the old color TV ... you are lucky to see anything in B&W these days....
