I grew up with 4 channels (2 PBS) black and white (if it worked) color (of various shades) and still managed to see a lot of the old shows before they dissapeared... I remeber black and white on the old color TV ... you are lucky to see anything in B&W these days....

When i grew up we did'nt have remote controls either. We got up and changed channels ourselves...and liked it, lol :laughing: :nopity:

Although we did have several independent channels - WOR carried Mets games and WPIX had the Yankees, there was a Spanish speaking channel too - in NYC back in the late 60's early 70's.  :beer:

I have more remotes that I can shake a stick at...I eveh have a son that is old/young enough that i can talk him into changing the channels when I loose the other ones LMAO

I always loved the magnum show.
He was named after a chrysler engine.
But by the show's timeline (not the actual air dates) in the early seventies magnum just got out of nam.
