:banghead:I have got my new 419 stroker engine on the run stand. running a MSD 6al2 box, 8388 rtr dist, mad atomic efi. 26" 4 core radiator from champion, dual electric fans. 180 deg thermostat. engine start nice and runs with about 12 degrees initial timing 37 all in at 2700 but runs about 10 min and starts to overheat. I shut it down around 110 to avoid any damage. Is it possible I have a timing issue causing her to get to hot? I am going to try a lower thermostat today, possibly order larger fans. but I really don't want to kill it already. Any suggestions???
