I am just frustrated they sold a kit with inadequate fans. Easy fix though. Really glad I didn't hurt anything

Lol, ok make fun of the chevy guy. I have to say mopar is way more of a challenge.  I have built a bunch of chevy and it was way easier and way cheaper

Got her running g great now with the new tti headers fixed the oil leak and let the msd take control of the timing. It was good choice.  Smoothed up the rpm curve and sounds solid all the way through the rpm range. On just the dist it would sound like it missed once in a while. Miss no more!!

I am not making fun of any Chevy guy
Just in all my years it seems that a 400 hp Mopar will outrun a 600 hp Chev all the time  so it must be different horses  :dunno:
Congrats on getting it running well , I have yet to see electric fans work out , everytime a belt driven clutch fan & shroud solves the heat issues .

Thanks, i do appreciate it. I will say this being my first mopar it is very satisfying build. Every challenge overcome makes it feel even more gratifying. i have built many a chevy and can build a 600HP snall block with parts straight of the shelf or in a kit. a total meathead that has never built an engine can easily put together a SB gm. This car for me it is a exciting new challenge. I am officially hooked

that is the real difference
long rod ratio = massive torque
when you make over 400 ft lbs at the rear wheels @ 2200 rpm things happen fast
