1970 B body Hemi.   :2thumbs:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Is that 207901?

You could take a piece of paper and a pencil and shade in the paper to see the number.

Looks like 0G217901 to me... Clearly it's 0G21 9 1

so the first 0 makes it 1970
the G makes it St Louis  which produced B bodies

The pencil shading trick didn't really produce any results.  My wife is a professional photographer, so I got her super macro lens and took these pictures of the characters in question.

What is the digit before the 9??  It looks to go vertical but can't be a 1 judging from the other 1. I would think a 7 would be more slanted??

The '1' has a base... that one does not... a 4 is a possibility, but the cross is pretty low to not strike any shadow on that stamping, that is why I figure a 7. Look at page two at the example block stamping provided... it has a 7 on it, and shape is vertical for a good bit, like the number in question..

I sent the pictures to some Mopar buddies and most say it's a 7.

I am planning on building the Hemi up.  Does anyone know a good reputable machine shop in North Florida that could be trusted to do the job?

One suggestion, if you have plans to run the Tunnel Ram lose that single 4bbl top & find a dual 4bbl top, the single is well know for tuning issues....
