Section of doors
« on: October 28, 2016 - 01:44:46 PM »
This is a long shot but here goes. Does anyone out there have a junk pair of e-body doors that they can cut the door handle section out of?  Need about an 8 inch square section cut out so the section can be grafted back into other doors.  A friend of mine wants to graft e-body door handles into a custom Dodge Dart he is building.  If the doors you have are relatively close to us in Central Illinois he would buy the doors and cut the section out himself.  Thanks, Jay

I heard there is a 4 door Cuda, so what is wrong with a 4 door Challenger?   :bricks1:

If you can PM me your phone number I can hook you up with the guy that actually needs the pieces. Or I can PM you his number if you would prefer.

And for the rest of you....NO it isn't a 4 door Challenger....lol.  He is putting the E-body door handles on a '67 Dart.  It's a restomod with a 5.7 Hemi. He just got done grafting a 73 Road Runner power bulge hood onto the Dart hood.  Looks like it is going to turn out pretty cool.

OK you get a pass. Just kidding.  :grinno:  Hopefully the pictures can be shared when the install in complete. Sounds like an interesting mod!

I have a pair of doors laying around and I'm in Michigan.  One has no guts and the other still has glass in it.  Certainly could part with them . . .

I have a drivers door available and will be putting a new skin on my passenger door.  Might be a bit before I get the skin replaced but could possibly cut the section out.  Let me know.  I am local.  They are barracuda doors if it matters.
