70 vs 71-up e body floor differences

Hi everyone, i am considering getting into a e body, precisely a 1970 e body, I have a 1970 in view, but have a few concerns on its authenticity as body as a few red flags.

from searching the web, i have learned that 70 e-bodys sheet metal differ not only from the outside (quarters, tail panel, grills, valences), but also structurally.

My findings so far; 72 -up passenger inner fenders have a curve on passenger side , rear shock holes in trunk floor are different from 71-up, seat belts attach differently 71-up.

I also notice AMD offers different floors from 71-up, which i cannot find online images to properly document the 2 , anyone have pictures to show differences between 70 and 71-up floors?

Also, any other structural changes between a 1970 and a 1971-up e-body?

Full front floor pans are almost completely different in 1970 then they are in 1971 and newer years.

The major difference is in how they attach to the inner rocker panel. In 1970 only the floor pan has a 90* flange on each side that spot welds vertically to the inner rocker.

In 1971 and newer, the rocker inner has a ledge on which the floor pan lies flat and is spot welded horizontally.

so the 1971 and newer front floor section does not have the 90* flange, however again some early 71 models still had the 70 style pan.

You could write a book on all the differences in "1970 ONLY" metal structure parts
