Challenger trim removal
« on: October 31, 2016 - 12:14:14 PM »
Prepping the challenger for teardown and need help and instruction on removal of side body trim, vinyl, and window trim. I tried looking on YouTube but it seems Mopar video's are few and far between. Any tips would be fantastic! Trying to save the trim. Especially the body molding and their clips to sell since it seems people have a hard time finding them.

I had a hard time with the window trim, made some tools and tried according to instructions, finding the clips and bending etc, but ended up cracking my windshield in a corner. The problem I had was that someone had used way to much of the black glue to attach the windshield so all the trim was really glued in there also. Heat was the solution. Wish I've done that before bending so much.

What about for side windows? I'm having a tough time with them, the passenger side would not cooperate at all.  I got the rear trim off pretty easily minus breaking some clips....  but no bends!!!
