I have the comp roller rockers part #1621-16 in my 512 built. Cheapest I found about a year ago was 670ish, looks to be about the same pricing currently.

I just finished my 512 build as follows:

440 Source stroker kit
Pro Max aluminum heads (good quality and only $1200)
Lunati Voodoo Hydraulic Flat Tappet & Lifter Kit - Chrysler 361-440 Three Bolt 276/284 Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .513/.533
Holley dominator aluminum intake
PRW rocker arms
Quick Fuel 880 CFM Carb.
TTI polished ceramic headers

I haven't driven it yet, but it sounds like a beast!   :ylsuper:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Want to do me a favor and run this thing to the dyno for me in the next few days? Love to have some numbers to see how these different combinations perform with those heads.  :burnout:

My 512:
Promaxx heads CNC'd by the engine builder - 6 pack with diaphragm end carbs-aluminum intake, 259/264 @ .050 comp solid flat tappet-.600 lift, 11.2/1 compression, comp roller rockers, cp pistons, callies crank, 440 source billet steel main caps - 623hp-649 torque on the dyno and was running lean - suspect around a little more hp now after street tuning with wide band and richening up the end carbs - went from 81 jets to 84-86 front and 86-88 rear. All I know, it pulls REAL hard!

Most likely low - I have not ironed those out yet. I'll research them and up my price point. I'll also check the harland sharp rockers. Hoping to have it together by Christmas.

Sorry - made a mistake on my post with cost and part number of rocker, fixed now.  900usd and part number S70015KE

Its a tough pill to swallow, but I'm budgeting 10-11K for this build. I'd hope I can make a pretty mean machine for that kind of money. Especially since I'm not paying labor charges except for machining, and beer for my buddy who is going to oversee the build.

I may have seen this dyno pull posted somewhere? Those are impressive numbers. I'd be beyond impressed if I can get there. Being that you're pushing more compression than I'm planning and running a solid flat tappet, I may not be as high as those. It is my understanding that a solid cam at that lift is more performance minded over street use. Whats your take on it? (*my understanding of cams suck, and I could easily be getting it confused*)

The 512 soaks up a lot of duration. My car is a stick and quite frankly runs very well on the street. Matter of fact I haven't taken it to the track. It idles fine (once warmed up-no choke). Fires right up. Isn't too fussy but You have to keep it 2-2300 rpm for it to be happy when driving it. On the highway at 2600-3 grand (410 gears) it purrs like a kitten. There's some guys running a lot more cam on the street than I am. I went for a performance build thinking I wouldn't drive the car that much but when I do drive it I marvel at how well the motor runs and responds!

I love to some day, but lack of funds now prevents it.  Besides, the car isn't finished and street legal yet.

Can't wait to have that feeling! Feels like it's forever away haha.

Looks like I need a new block. Appears that my untrained eye, coupled with a dirty block missed this. Machine shop said it was on front driver side. Looks like somebody punched a hole through it at some point and welded it shut most likely.

Can you have it welded back up? This isn't a high stress area.

Agreed. Its the crankcase, which is not a high pressure area like a water jacket or cylinder wall.
