Are there full rear quarter panels available for the cudas yet?  Goodmark, Year one?

Nope, they should be out pretty soon though, probably around the same time as the fenders that were already soppose to be released. Unless you are in rush, wait for the full goodmark 1/4s....the 1/4 skins are not that great.

"The price will be 499.95 and the ETA is Nov. 05 and watch out if you are using the quarter skins you will have to put the rear patch in the quarter skin to get the correct body line on the rear bottom......

Thanks,
Chris @ Goodmark"

6 months is better than spending a couple thousand on a NOS set. You could spend those 6 months hunting down other parts and doing whatever else needs to be done....

He was talking about the 1/4 skins and they only cost around 200 bucks. The problem with the skins is whomever stamps them does a piss-poor job where the bottom meets the valance.....

:iagree: Boy do you have that right! Half of the time I spent fitting my quarter skins was just hammer and dolly work on them where they meet the valance panel.

I just completed the drivers side rear quarter skin on my '73 cuda. I spent three quarters of the day on Sat. the 2nd of July cutting the old replacement skin off, then grinding down the weld and trying to get the "heat related warpage" straightened out so I could start dry fitting the Year One skin on. I was exceptionally happy with the fit of the new skin. I did have to do some trimming , but it went on very nice. It took me about six hours to complete the long weld joint along the top, but it stayed nice and straight. I'll send some pics. when I do the paasengers side!

Greetings,
Any of you guys got pics of before and after your quarter skin tweaks that show what you had
to do to make them work? Got my quarter skins taped to the rear now trying to decide my cut
lines etc., and now I'm procrastinating after hearing this bad news about the fit! Did you actually
have to "add metal" to make it work or just move that body line around to make it go?? Thanks,
Jeff
