Yup ! When they were replaced , the installer never painted the insides of either one , Thats why I decided to just completely replace them rather than try to get my hands into all of the hidden crevaces! Even with the quarter skin removed , I had a hard time cleaning all of the rust from the inner structures. They have now been cleaned , and painted and rust proofed.
Hey, anyone try using that paint on bedliner stuff for rustproofing their floors? I was thinking about it, but haven't made up my mind yet. Any opinions ? ? ?
Heres the outside view showing how the rust ate through from the inside. If you guys do them , make sure you paint them or they could look like this in a short time !

that can rubberized undercoating works well!! i used it on my dart it looks really good and no rust yet!!

  I'm no where near ready for that stage yet, but I thought about using the bedliner stuff
on the inside of the floor, more so for a sound deadner than for rust. My thought was that it
would work like that dynamat stuff but alot cheaper and also more contour friendly than the
mat stuff. I think that would really help with rattles and road noise. I mentioned it to a few
people and one thought the bedliner stuff would add alot of weight to the vehicle. I personally
think the added weight of a gallon or two wouldn't be that much of a penalty. I never worked
with it though, maybe it weighs alot more than paint? :dontknow:

IMO the spray bomb undercoating works good and looks pretty good too. I did it to both the outside and insides of the floors on my first challenger. Looks good and is still there. Although it probibly isn't good for a show car but all I have are plain jane challengers.

Got this email today after inquiring about the progress on the Cuda sheet metal.

Message from Chris at Goodmark.....
These are early samples and can not be bolted on for a test fit, but the body-lines look great...
 
Also keep in mind the marker lights are not punched on these and the real one will have all the correct light holes in them.......

Thats great, I thought the fenders would lag for years, that will save a ton of hours, 74 fenders need serious work! Better start saving up now, i may be able to afford the parts in 4 or 5 years!  :newsad: Rich.
