Thank you :drunk: At least now you can tell your partner what he could expect out of me as far as a restoration is concerned.

One great thing about having work at such a prestigious show is that any potential customers wanting to check out my work can see it first hand. However, it's my understanding that my name is nowhere near the car :'(

Great meeting you yesterday at the show Frank!  We'll have to get together soon and check out the gator grain TA gathering dust for decades where my '71 is stored.
My T/A got a scuff on the NOS drivers door stripe sometime between after it was loaded on the trailer Friday morning and when I moved it from where it was unloaded in the hall to it's display spot in the afternoon.  :'(
Car is cursed I'm convinced, but with a touchup with a marker and a product I bought from the Jax wax booth, it isn't too noticeable.  A friend with a T/A I saw at the show has a NOS door stripe I can have, so one way or another, will sort it out.
Otherwise, I'm having a great time. One more day, and then this evening I hope to get the car home safe without any more drama!
Here's my first pictures, will sort out rest later.

Ford Thunderbolt?  They had a unveiling of a newly restored one last year that was right up front when you walked in.  Courtney Hansen did the unveiling, maybe that was distracting and didn't see the car?
Here are my pictures from this weekend

We also were very impressed with the show. The quality and rareness of many many cars was outstanding. We had a good amount of 1:18 die cast sales, as there were more people than ever before. Those who bought the advanced sale tickets ($5 cheaper than at the door) had another benefit this year. In addition to saving $5, and not having to stand in the ticket booth line, people with tickets in their hands were let in early due to the lobby area being so full of people there for the opening of the show. If you like to see the cars better, attend on Sunday as the crowd is about 20-25% of what it is on Saturday. All in all a "not to miss" show in my mind. Many thanks to all who stopped by the booth!

You know you're going to have to make a diecast of Tim Welborn's multi-coloured 1970 Cuda  :2thumbs:
