Hi i wanted to get you guys in put see if you think its worth it. its a 73 challenger with matching number 318 with slapstick, console bucket seats, interior is original with a couple of rips but still good, door panels are intact. this the info i got says no rust. oh and he wants 6500 engine runs and tranny wrks he took out the engine to paint the engine comparment. TRYING TO ADD PIC WONT LET ME add some.
The more money you spend up front for a clean example(rust free) the farther ahead you'll be in the long run. Body and paint work is the most expensive part of a restoration. $6500 for a rust free 73 is a good deal IMO. Just know that you'll be upside down on the car when it's done.(even if it was free) This is a hobby for most people and they shouldn't expect to make money on these car.
