Granted mine is a TBI system and the engine is only on a run stand, but the MSD Atomic has been phenomenal so far. easy to install and the setup could be done by a 9 year old. with the timing control feature used it is smooth as butter.  I am running a return type setup but it also features a return less with PWM.  :2cents:
:wavingflag:  Quit being offended by everything, I am sure you are doing something that upsets me, but I am not complaining about you!!! It is a free county get over yourself!

I used Megasquirt 3,  Car starts hot or cold with the turn of the key. I'm running coil near plug and sequential fuel.
It can control everything.   Spark, Fuel, Boost, Nitrous, traction control, AC, idle, fans,  I control when the reverse lock out will engage on the trans  (below 1500 rpm and less than 5 mph) and launch control 2 step.

I can idle the engine as low as 600 rpm and still have instant throttle response.

Problems.  It is mostly do it yourself,  you have to source the trigger wheel, cam sensor, and the engine sensors.
Then setup the computer on your laptop.
My car stared within 2 turns of the crank on its first start.

But a lot of people have problems, and the tech support is on the megasquirt forums.  They are very helpful but you must understand it is just a forum,  Not a real tech support.

Great discussion - as far as the cost I've been pricing around $1500 all in. $1050 for the 800HP TBI, and $450 for the Sump Fuel tank with inline HP Pressure pump.

Speaking of the latter, has anybody used the inline sump tank. I like the idea of not running new lines and external pump from the tank/in the tank. Should be a simple swap because the low pressure lines will feed the Sump, likely swap my fuel regulator out, and mount the sump bowl there. Then you run High pressure lines to the TBI. Seems to me that if you're doing a long 1/4 mile pull it may drain that bowl pretty quick, but I'd have to imagine they thought of that?

Tanks Inc tank with internally baffling and and internal fuel pump would be a much better solution for about the same $450.

Get one of these as well, much better setup then the TANKS unit.

Indeed, I came across that just the other day and shared it with someone else. They're doing 8% off through the 30th.

Did you get your leaks sorted out yet? Mine is leaking somewhere up top, just haven't had time to drop the tank yet to see whats going on. Draining the tank is as far as I've gotten... Winter is here and it might be spring before I look at it.

I have the Edelbrock E-Street EFI with the sump fuel system. I like the sump system. Easy to install and uses the stock fuel pump to supply the sump. I just took the washer bottle out and put the sump in its place. I did some creative wiring so unless you know what to look for it looks just like a carb setup. I mounted the ECU and relays in the glove compartment with room left over to still use the compartment. Setup was easy and runs great with instant throttle response and no hesitation at all. A little expensive and it doesn't start up as fast as I think it should. I think the fuel pressure bleeds down when the motor is off and then you need to turn the key to energize the pump for about 5 seconds to build up pressure before you crank the motor over.

Dang, next time I need an almost $1000 carb, will try the FItech instead.

If a car makes around 600 hp, should one get the 600hp system or the 800 hp system?

Efficiency, the fuel is sprayed directly into the cylinders.
