Crank Depth For TKO 600 With PICS
« on: November 07, 2016 - 09:04:24 AM »
Hey Guys,

I finally have the engine off of the stand and on the K-member on the jig.  I am running a 1969 340 and wanted to make sure that the crank was the right depth.  I'm showing 2.571" to the farthest outer ring of the crank.  I do have the larger pilot bushing for the crank. Is my depth good?  Thanks

Dave

My guess is that it looks like lots of depth but it is just a guess

you're good - the locating pilot tip on the tremec TKO series transmission is like an inch...     it does not protrude any further than the conversion needle pilot bearing
