1970 Challenger 8 track dash trim
« on: November 11, 2016 - 06:47:24 PM »
Here are some photos of a piece I already have (purchased on Ebay years ago) but it appears that the part number 2984027 is possibly for a cuda? I would use this but the styling lines between the left hand trim (2984045) and this one don't match. Willing to trade or maybe sell this piece to get the correct one. This piece is in great shape, no cracks or breaks.

What's the going value of a piece like that ?
Wouldn't 70 Challenger be a one year only, and obviously only for cars ordered with 8 track, gotta be a pretty rare piece ?

Probably, the non 8 track model is a one year only. Just started looking and it doesn't  appear one is reproduced. Worst case, I'll use the one I have.

Both pieces are one year only... The 8 track was only year only..  And actually more Challengers got 8 tracks than Cuda's... But at the end of the day both are pretty rare... Good luck with your search...  Luckily the radio bezel being wrong isn't nearly as obvious as the heater control bezel...

I"ll keep a lookout but as you said, it shouldnt be that obvious.. However,  I have bigger issues to worry about , the main one being completion of the car.  :pullinghair:
