LED tail lights
« on: November 21, 2016 - 04:31:43 PM »
Good afternoon everyone -
I'm working with a new board house for some new product and we prototyped a few all red arrays (tail lights).  The white boards are filled with 60 red 5mm LED's with the 1157 pigtail mounted to it.  These boards are very well made and they passed my thermal test with flying colors.  The arrays are 3" long x 2 3/4" tall x 1/2 inch deep, perfect for the 72-74 Challenger or the 72-74 Barracuda's.  I've got 3 sets that I will package with custom stainless steel mounting tabs that you manipulate to your installation and mount with 3M VHB tape that I will package for $60.00 per set + shipping.

The LED's all face the same direction for maximum brightness and these are bright.  These are wicked bright.

I'm only offering these here on Cuda-Challenger.com

How do these install, simple plug in to the stock housing? I have a 73 challenger..is a set considered 2 panels or 4? I'm interested, I already have an led compatible flasher.

The set is for the two outer lenses.  The inners are our reverse lights and reflector.  These are all plug and play - NO wire cutting.

I thought behind Red lenses you should use White LED's ?

The red is actually the preferred.  If you use white the result will be pink....think the Honda Accords of 2002-2006.  Big oops.

I never liked bright tail lights when the cops are chasing me for speeding.
