Pro comp Customs 1970 Charger
« on: November 22, 2016 - 10:16:13 PM »
Has anyone seen this custom Charger?   Chopped and channeled '70 Charger Interesting build but it looks somewhat unfinished in person

I guess they ran out of time so the bodywork is a little wonky, windows are fake and it seems to have no interior.

Opinions?

As soon as I saw the front fenders I thought friend of brads? They looked puffed out?

No, it's a new one from Bruce Harvey. Pro Comp customs. They did the chopped and channeled 1st Gen Camaro last year for SEMA and this year it's this charger. I guess it has an R5 NASCAR engine in it, so that's pretty cool.

I can appreciate the hard work....but it appears that they sectioned the body making it appear narrower along the sides, but left the front bumper the stock width making it look huge and heavy and out of place :2cents:

Not a fan.  2nd gen Chargers are some of the best looking Mopars ever made, sometimes it's just impossible to improve on perfection.

Roof Chopped 3", body sectioned 3", front wheel wells moved 2" forward.

I was thinking something similar but maybe more like a late 50s fighter with the huge intake in the front. Like a F-100 for example

Personally I think it's the best proportioned pro touring 2nd gen out there. A charger that looks right but sits as low as a Ferrari. It's also all mopar (engine), no Torino grille or 68 tail lights or Ford hood scoop.
