Sealing the cabin from the firewall

I have all sorts of areas - like the coolant hoses - that don't seal from the cabin and i'm sucking fumes and heat... makes the ride LOUD and sucky.

How do I go about sealing these areas w/o making a mess or an ugly situation?

HOLY CRAP... My car didn't have any of these installed when I got it...  &$%^#%^$^%()   I never knew these were... Ayyye

Detroit make a good kit and I used them on my car as well. There is a seal for everything that bolts through the firewall, right down to the mounting bolts for the emergency brake bracket. There is also a rubber boot for the clutch rod should you have one. If the PO didn't put the new seals on the heater core in/outlets, you've got some fun on your hands. Good luck
