I first fell in love with the Cuda when I was just a kid watching the classic horror movie Phantasm with my older brother. The Hemicuda in that movie was everything a car should be. I've never actually owned a Cuda but I'm an adult now, I never get myself anything I don't absolutely need so I've saved up some cash, and figure now's as good a time as any for a hobby that's almost impossible for me to afford LOL! I really love muscle cars but the Cuda has always been the top for me so I figured, what the hell, I'll go for the best.

Welcome.....I haven't been to this forum in a very long time and was reading your post & story above sounds identical to my story many many decades ago.  Don't settle for anything less and give yourself sometime it's well worth it in the long run.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, that Hemicuda from Phantasm was mindblowing - especially seeing it as a kid around the same age as Mikey in the movie.

Wow, actually just found this forum's thread about the Phantasm cars - didn't know the original was sold for $1000 and never found again. Cool that Coscarelli has all of the other ones though. The '71 from the first movie is my favorite though.
