Billet Clutch Reservoir Question
« on: December 01, 2016 - 02:49:48 PM »
hey Guys,

I'm finally installing my Tremec 5 speed with hydraulic clutch and I have a question.  The kit came with a plastic clutch reservoir.  I would like to get something a little nicer.  Of the two below one comes with the diaphragm and one doesn't.  Also one is cheaper.

Do I really need the diaphragm?
What is it's function?
What are your thought on either?  Thanks

I agree but there isn't a lot of options except for the plastic ones.  I line the cheaper one that's just my opinion.

I would prefer a diaphram as I believe it to have a better seal. I do not want Brake Fluid on ANYTHING.

The Billet Specialties one I bought is sealed with an O ring in the cap. :2cents:
