The '72 pics are a cooler version of "American Graffiti".  "Where were you in '72".

As a sidebar note:
The white Cuda sitting next to my yellow A66 Challenger vert was a 70 340, 4sp convertible with a factory shaker and rubber bumpers purchased by a friend of mine
I had gone with him when bought the car in rundown shape (for 1980) for $500 dollars.
When we arrived, the car was sitting in a dark industrial area and someone else was trying to get the seller to sell for $400.
My friend immediately pulled out five, one hundred dollar bills and ended the competition.
Later, after he fixed and painted the Cuda, we both went to the Hemi Owners meet in Massachusetts in 1982.
Wish I had some better pics of his car.
(and by the way: I paid $975. for the Challenger in 1979)

I was 9.
but I hung around with a kid who was in HS and drove around a 70 Hemi Challenger.  (parents did all they could to stop me  LOL).
Thats when I got the Mopar bug!

That's great.  You are lucky because you have many years ahead of you to buy, fix, race, drive or just enjoy your Mopar! :working:
and Bill, your 70 blue Challenger is stunning!

Lets keep it going; 1978, my 440 GTX, my 78 Adventurer SE and my 69 Formula 340-S. The Formula S was wicked fast, Solid lifter 340 with a ton of mods that I shifted at 7500-8000, 3.91 gears and a 4 speed. I kept the engine looking a bit grungy and had stock tin valve covers and a stock 340 intake. The car made me lots of money and I didn't let it idle more than I had to with too many people around as the sound gave it away. Not an E-body but it is a fish. No Fiats in this shot.

My first MoPar in 1979. An A66 '70 Challenger 340/ 4 spd. F8/F8 V1X. Was beat to HELL! Jumped out of first gear, loose suspension, fuel tank full of rust and engine would stall on uphills,340 jumped time and  I traded it for a 60,000 mi. '70 Charger R/T. V1G Gator Grain roof. Guy knocked off $200, Charger was $950!

My 1973 Challenger Rallye in the early 80s. Dad (that's his 68 Polara in the background) had co-signed the $2500 loan with me back in January 77. The Six Pack setup was bought from a friend for $150 and I was finally able to get it installed. A lot of good times with that car. Road trips, concerts, and all sorts of hijinx :smokin:

I'm on the right with Robert M, my runnin' buddy at the time, sharing in the fun. "You've got a Six Pack, man! Kick it in!!"   :working: :burnout: :burnout:
