While I am still in great health, and have four perfect grandchildren now, I am thinking about cashing in. I look in my garage and know that I have a problem having too many
cars and parts. When you were growing up you want and wish for everything. If things work out, as you get older you start "hoarding" and usually have close to everything that
you wished for. I am blessed to have too much. I'm starting to see others with health issues and have lost family members to the big "C". I look in my garage and see valuables
to me but don't want to dump this on my wife and Family if I were to get sick. I'm turning it to cash to start enjoying more things with my Grand Children!
I always told my friends of a Challenger Pace Car that crashed during the 1971 Indy 500 race. Every response usually was that they didn't know about it or EVER saw a Challenger
Pace Car. I always wanted one, couldn't afford an original, so I made one and made it stand out so it looked better than the originals. I had it in line with the Challengers at
the "Indy 500 Pace Car Reunion" in Indy, a week before the 50th running of the Indy 500.
I'm throwing this out here for $38,000. Selling low for a quick sale. More seems too much and less seems too little. For a few more thousand and minor details this car could be
perfect. The car could use some light rust repair on the top front of one of the front fenders. I'm sure all of the PROFESSIONALS here will say it is a "hack job" but I did what
I could in a 3 car garage and was driving a dependable Challenger Vert without going broke and still pay the bills. It is not an $80K full Resto, so others can afford it and fix
it to their level. I got it to this point. Found it on Ebay in Texas and paid $16,000 in it's rusty, everything BAD shape. If you want a 71 Vert, with less than 2600 made, you
get one when it comes up.
Has been seen on the Hot Rod Power Tour for many years and the Rapid Transit Mopar Tour for the last two. Has been up to MoparFest in Canada, Mopar Nationals in Columbus,
Ohio, Monster Mopar Weekend in Indiana, and Woodward Dream Cruise in Detriot 3 times. It gets attention wherever I go. If you don't want attention, not the car for you! Could
use a fresh paint job. Has been driven many miles since it was painted 7 years ago. I have a spare set of decals that go with it. It has a factory looking tilt column that I
install in all of my E-bodies. Has power steering, power disc brakes, overdrive 833 overdrive trans w/pistol grip,, EZ-EFI multi-port fuel injected 318, power windows, power
top, 295/50 rear tires on 10" wheels mounted to a 68-70 B-body 8-3/4 with a Dr. Diff offset shackle kit, A/C car with a non-cracked original dash pad. Being a vert, I installed
US Cartool subframe connectors when I replace the full floor, firewall, cowl and inner fenders. Installed quarter sheetmetal from the body line down. Also has a Viper 2-way
alarm system and power door locks and remote trunk popper.

This is a "clone" "tribute" pace car. Originally a 318-904 slap-Stik auto trans, flat hood, Gold exterior, tan interior, black top, luggage rack car. I wanted a Pace Car, so I
built one. Added the Pistol grip 4speed. I have the build sheet and fender tag. The 318 is the one that came in it BUT I have not checked the numbers on it or the trans. I did
not care. It could be a numbers matching car but I did not look. I have the original 904.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kF5XM_d654 At the Pace Car Reunion. My "clone" had the Rallye hood w/whiteout, bigger tires, rallye dash, Pistol grip, power windows, SE door inserts, spoilers etc. The originals were
plain.
Pace Car #2. Everyone knows #1 CRASHED LOL....
The pictures make the car look wonderful. It isn't, but it is a good starting point to finish your dream car.
