A 1973 exploitation flick "Group Marriage" features an obvious '71 Challenger vert w/ '72 grille and taillights. Car is featured parked and driving for several minutes . Watch it on youtube for free.

Was it gold??

There was a Chally 'vert in '72 trim that was supposedly used in the TV show "The Mod Squad"

It was for sale for quite a while about a year ago, but I can't remember where exactly I saw it ...
Cheers!
