    Hi new from sweden

     :newbie:  Try to sort out  Engine number on my 340 if its a 340s or not ? A guy have a lockt at it and told me it was . hers a bit info on the Engine cast number 2780930 3 it on every one from 68 to 73  built info 6-17-71  in front drivers side  HM 340R   36680218
    down at the oilgasket(0ilpann) B 145299 .And infront of the gearbox just about in the middel of the Engine its a  big letter O  I have read somevere that letter O or J  means that its a S Engine (340s) if any one can help me its verynice  :cooldancing:

    A bit about me 56 years live 380 km North of Stockholm have a 340 mopar Engine and 727 torqflite her we go in a Hotrod T 23 bucket . Have one more us car but its a other make so it maybe not to be spoken of in here it is a bitodd anyway a mean the bucket and all in here. Anyway i hope a can stay. Best reg Roger  :2thumbs:

    Welcome to the site from  :canada: Roger and you can stay as long as you want. There's lots of guys here who can answer your casting questions, but I'm sorry, I'm not one of them. You'll be asked for photos before too long and don't worry if your other US car isn't a Mopar; we love to see them all.  :wave:
