Up in Northern California this week

Up in NorCal Concord area again this week.
Anybody have any tips for places to eat and possibly meeting anyone local?

Wife and I are up wo watch daughter play in a b ball tournament. Here thru friday.

if your staying near Concord I recommend going to Walnut creek for restaurants. Only a couple of miles down the freeway and a lot of trendy to high end restaurants to choose from. If you have time to play tourist I have a couple of free passes to the Blackhawk auto museum in Danville. The museum is about 25 min from Concord and open wed. thru Saturday.

Blackhawk is very nice, classy enough that most women don't mind looking at cars...  And the Blackhawk Grill isn't bad at all...

Concord is an area Jack is allot more familiar with than I am... For me it's a bit of a drive....
