They are bad ass, but VERY expensive to maintain and repair. I was looking at getting one sometime ago and my cousin's husband is the service manager at a very large Mercedes dealership. He told me that while they are nice cars they can be very expensive to repair especially the retractable top. His advice was to buy the newest one I could afford.
Google up the year of car that is local and look at reviews. What I saw was people buying them and having to dump $10K into them within the first year.

Ya, with a used Mercedes, I've always heard about expensive repair bills.
But $36K, and they might take 30K, is pretty nice for a $180,000 car.
I would probably have our Mercedes dealer do a check out first.
