One of many over the years. 1968. Was a 318 car with a 71 forged crank 340 that I sold to a guy in Washington state. This thing is still on the lot, minus many parts...

I restored this one around 2009...Throttle stuck and went in a ditch backwards, clip a fire hydrant as well if I remember correctly...

 :iagree:  Mike, you're totally heartless!

This could turn out to be too much to bear as many of these wrecks were beyond repair and just went on to the ...
it's hard for me to say ...
the dreaded CRUSHER!

Cheers!

This pic 4C posted brought back a painful memory ...

Early 80's I had a '71 EV2 Cuda 'vert. While away in the military my Dad pressured me into letting my brother drive it so he could get a job. Didn't take long for him to lose control of it, run off the road and hit a tree at almost the same angle and offset as the one in 4C's picture (but a little more to the right side). Somehow my brother survived with only some bumps and bruises ... but the 'Cuda was totaled and off to the dreaded crusher it went. :crying:
Cheers!

Yup this is a painful thread.

You can't have pleasure unless you feel pain.

A story of mine:

1981 or 82'
Stationed at Ft. Campbell Ky.

Went to a junk yard full of stinging nettle.

Saw a convertible peering thru the nettle.
It was a white coronet R/T convertible.

I was so swollen up from the nettle, I never went back again after that.
