Morning everyone,
Not much to report, just wanted to check in.  I retired, found another job and have been working on Porsche's, so Mopar life has been on the back burner.  Cuda is sitting in the garage.  With the mild winter, we have had the opportunity to test and validate the tires still spin at maximum efficiency. 

I was looking for a QA1 K-frame.  Well luck would have it, found one at Summit on their bargain rack.  Now looking for a few other parts such as upper control arms, bushing, etc.  Also, cam has been put on hold - funds have been going to a Porsche build I am currently doing (my other mistress).  Also, found some old seats, had them redone.  They look nice, just need to do back shells and set up the racing harness for better comfort and fit.

Porsche huh???? about as far from a Mopar as you can get. I once had an inclination to get a Porsche (wasn't even sure what model) but a friend of mine who had a 911 for many years warned me away from them saying how hard some were to work on, the need for special tools and the money pit they can be. Looking back on it, I seriously doubt it would be any worse than the cars I have now; I would have just had to learn them. The larger problem was/is that the Porsche model I would want I couldn't afford then or even now; would had to be a 911 style although I did look pretty hard at some 928, 944 and even a 914. In more recent times I found that I really like the 996 but I do not have the disposable income to get one nor do I have the space to put one. I suppose I could sell off one of the toys awaiting their turn to be worked on or even my 52 B3B pickup but I just don't see it happening. I guess I will stick with what I know  :bigsmile:
