ACCUFORM dash pads

I need to change my dash pad in my Challenger, ACCUFORM dash pads seem to look good for the price like this one :

Will this fit in my car which has AC from the factory?

You realize that's just a thin plastic cap that glues over top of your cracked original pad, right ?
If so then yes it will fit, but will require some trimming to make it work with nice results.

Yes I realize that but I do not want to pay too much right now, I just want something that looks better than my worn out pad. I will get a better one later.

I had an accuform cap. It was ok. Better than a cracked pad, Takes a bit of work and prep to get them to look nice.

I had a dash cap in my '71 Challenger and hated it.  IMO save up for new dash instead of wasting money on this cap.

Well, I hated mine too, but I didn't have the $ for the new pad and the accuform at least looked a little better than a cracked pad and it was only $99.

I'm looking at doing the same thing on a70 Cuda. I talked with my interior guy ,he said he did a 70 Challenger and it looked really good. I wanted a new one 2 put I'm Canadian and it 35 cents on the dollar plus shipping so I think I might try it for now.i was looking at Year One an Classic Industries  What do u think Thanks DirksCuda

I had the same experience with my dash pad in my 70 Challenger. It had more canyons than the state of Arizona.I got a cover and for awhile I pretended there were no cracks in it. A good friend of mine who had to sell his 70 R/T Challenger project sold me his black, 3 speaker, non-air, OEM dash pad in perfect, blemish free condition, for $100.00. I cleaned prepped it put it in and I'll never go back again. By the way I do have the factory AM/FM, multiplex, roll-dial 5-speaker stereo system and it still works.

How much are those carpeted dash covers?  If you're just wanting a temporary fix, that might fit the bill for now.

I installed an Accuform cap on my cuda. I really like the results, especially for $110.

Any feedback on where to source a good quality repop dash pad? Just dashes are quoting $1250 change over, which seems over the top.

I want a good quality pad (not a cover) and dont want to get burnt with a crappy repop unit.

Contact Roseville and see whose pads they are selling now.  I bought mine from them in 2011 but things might have changed since then.

Last I heard, Roseville had decided to get out of the dashpad business. That may have changed since about a year ago, though.

I purchased a Dashmat brand around 10 years ago in black for future use in my current 1970 Challenger. Nearly 20 years earlier I ordered one through the local Auto Zone in blue for a Challenger I had at the time; it attached with supplied Velcro squares, but rather than tape one side to a split dash pad, I decided to just leave it in place unattached. Driving with it like that only became an issue at highway speeds with windows down or romping on the gas pedal from a dead stop. Otherwise the orientation of the dash itself kept it in place.
