Wide Sill molding ?

So...      1973 Challenger with option code for wide sill moldings...      I have seen the 1970-1971 style...     but for 1972-1974 I've only seen a this stainless piece as a rocker panel trim....        My car has the trim long gone but the only remnants is the welded studs centered on the rocker panel - I assume they are for trim clips - but I can not seem to find a photo of a 1973 Challenger with the rocket trim... 

any help ??

1973 Challenger never came with the "wide" sill moldings. They came with the thin moldings only like every other 1972-74 E Body.

I'm curious: what's the code, and where did you find it described as "wide sill moulding"?

it was coded as M-25 on the fender tag - some mopar fendertag decoder spit it out as "wide sill molding" ---   probably just a layover from 1970-1971 model years...

You have to read the correct fender tag decoded for the year of your vehicle

Sill moldings were M25 no matter what year. They were optional on all models. 1970-71 used wide moldings, 72-up did not.
