727 Linkage. What do I miss?
« on: January 06, 2017 - 06:01:55 PM »
Currently there's a B&M shifter in my Challenger, which I intend to replace with the stock shifter.

Can someone please take a look on this photo of the parts I got for the original shifter, and tell me which parts I'm missing?

Looks like you are missing the rubber seal/metal ring for the hole and a spring that goes on the piece to the right where the rod from the shifter connects, the hook on it, is for that spring.

...or maybe that is the rubber seal on the rod, saw that now.

Thank you soundcontrol!

The rubber seal is pretty much gone, so I'll need a new one.
I forgot to mention that the metal ring is screwed in place together with the other remains of the rubber seal.

While trying to find the spring you mentioned at Year One, I noticed that I miss this bracket too:

Guess I should get this bushing as well:

Maybe these photos from a 1970 Challenger can help you? Good luck!

Never really understood the function of that spring, maybe to keep the parts from rattling?
